It usually didn't bring up the window when they tried joining the meeting for "Connect via Skype for Business" or "Don't connect to audio" or "dial in" or whatever, but when it did I had one of them choose "Don't connect to audio", and then he was able to join the meeting and start video, just with the audio disabled and the microphone button in-meeting grayed out. Yes, their speakers are working, both in Windows/Control Panel and in Skype's audio settings, and we could hear each other perfectly fine during the normal call.ĭoes anybody have any ideas, or have experienced this before and fixed it? We're on Skype for Business 2015 (Click-to-run/365) and Windows 10 across the board. The people I've done test calls with can do a standard video or audio call just fine, but then when I invite them to a Skype meeting, they get an error message saying "your speaker isn't working". Well, as is usually the case with anything new that's IT related, there are issues. We have about 10 people that will be calling into the meeting via Skype, so I was tasked with doing a test call with all of them to make sure it's working before the meeting. We're in the process of implementing Skype for Business and we want to use it for a meeting coming up in a few days.
